Part-time Teacher Trainer/Examiner
The Institute of Teachers Professional Development is looking for Part-time Teacher Trainer/Examiner who meets the following job requirements:
- Holds a minimum of Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education from a reputable university.
- MUST be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC). The TSC registration number and the ID number should be indicated on the strictly 3-page CV.
- MUST have relevant experience in DECTE and DPTE teachers training programmes
- MUST be conversant with and able to use virtual learning tools/apps such as Zoom and Google Meet
- MUST have the relevant experience in setting and marking course assignments using Google Classroom
- MUST demonstrate the ability to support trainees virtually/online successfully
- Should have excellent knowledge of the CBC curriculum. Having trained teachers in CBC is a plus.
- MUST be conversant with teaching pedagogical learning areas such as English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Art & Craft, P.E, Music, Religious & Environmental Education.
- MUST be conversant with professional learning areas such as Child development, Psychology, Curriculum, ICT, Research, Management, Sociological, Philosophical and History of Education.
- MUST be comfortable holding training sessions during day time, evening, Monday to Saturday.
